Fred Bagnall (trombone)

Fred Bagnall is a piano technician living in West Hartford. Raised in a musical family he plays trombone and guitar and has been performing music for over 30 years. He currently is performing with Strictly Swing, The Hartford Jazz Orchestra, The Hartford Brass Quintet and The Manchester Trombone Quartet.

Roger Caruk (horn)

Roger Caruk was born and raised in the wilds of Connecticut. After graduating from the University of Connecticut, he moved to Boston Massachusetts to hide in a ghoulish lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital. When he wasn't up to his aorta in blood samples, he was playing French Horn with various orchestras, such as Longwood Symphony, New Philharmonia, Hingham Symphony, Emmanuel Music, Newton Symphony, etc.. But the call of the wild was too much for Roger to ignore, and Connecticut once again became his home. He has been welcomed back by the likes of the Hartford Brass Quintet, New Britain Symphony, Connecticut Virtuosi, West Hartford Symphony, and Eastern CT Symphony, and St. Francis Hospital has quenched his taste for blood.

Daniel Green (tuba)

Daniel Green received his BM and MM from the Hartt School of Music. Mr. Green teaches in the West Hartford Public Schools and in his spare time (hah!) performs with the Hartford Brass Quintet, the Nutmeg Brass Quintet, the Hamden Wind Symphony and the Hartford Pops Band. An avid performer of renaissance wind instruments, Mr. Green is also a member of Alta: a renaissance wind trio, and has performed and recorded with The Grande Bande, ARTEK, and the Amherst Early Music Festival.

Peter Olson (trumpet)

Peter Olson resides in Ashford with his wife, Lauren, and his two children, Ashlyn and David. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and is employed by the United States Postal Service. Peter has performed with a wide variety of musical groups throughout the area including the Manchester Symphony, the Eastern Connecticut Symphony, the Connecticut Repertory Theatre, the Connecticut Virtuosi, the Clarion Brass Quintet and the Constitution Brass.

Leslie Rottner (trumpet)

Leslie Rottner is presently principal trumpet with both the Manchester Symphony and the Connecticut Valley Chamber Orchestra. He holds advanced degrees in music history from the Hartt College of Music and UCLA. In an earlier life he was an assistant professor of early music (medieval and renaissance) at the University of Hartford. He now teaches another kind of early music: Suzuki violin to kindergartners in the Hartford Public Schools.
